Italian Foods at Silverspoon Trattoria @ Bandar Manjalara, Kepong

Who don't love Italian foods? I bet everyone gotta agree that Italian food dishes are really something you wouldn't want to miss. Being a food lover me, always trying to "hunt" for something good, and was glad to have a chance to dine with people who really has passion towards foods!

Silverspoon Trattoria
Last week, we went to this new-to-me restaurant, Silverspoon Trattoria at Bandar Manjalara, Kepong. Just when we arrived and entered this place, it has really nice and cozy ambiance.

The ambiance
Most of the diners at here wearing casually. Later that found out this place actually comes with a semi fine dining concept which explained well about the "Trattoria" in the restaurant's name.

Weihenstephaner Beer
We were first served with this Weihenstephaner beer from Germany. Am not a beer person and of all alcohol drinks, I dislike beer the most. Who would expect that I would give exception for this Weihenstephaner?! I took a sip and fell in love with it! For the very first time in my life without I realized I couldn't resist myself from sipping it time to time.Smiley

Ms Jazz (RM13.90)
Next, come this Ms Jazz. Not a person, but it's a drink. Of course, the name derived from the  name of the the gorgeous Jessica Ng. Ms Jazz certainly gives me a total brand new taste and it's very refreshing too! I never know the fantastic combination of lychee, orange sherbet and milk till I try this one.Smiley

Oreo Milkshake (RM13.90)
The Oreo Milkshake may sounds very common to everyone. The first sip I had, how creamy and it has a strong flavor of oreo which is just nice to my liking. I bet kids would love this!

Chargrilled Calamari Salad (RM23)
As for the starter of the night, we were served with a plateful of this Chargrilled Calamari Salad. Initially, I was kinda worried as Eric dislike salad and well surprised me that he loved this very much! He ate the most of it! There's so many compliment for this one though it's kinda chewy to me. The greatest part was the sauce! All of us love it very much as the Calamari goes very well with it.

Stuffed Mushroom (RM19)
Next come was the Stuffed Mushroom. It was huge Portobello mushrooms stuffed with bread crumbs, herbs and cheese. For a mushroom lover like me, I can never had enough of this with the tenderness of the mushroom, I would say it's one of the perfect one I have had ever. Smiley

Duck Leg Confit (RM39)
Later, the main course came and first to come was this one, Duck Leg Confit. Most of us loving the crispy skin of it and how juicy and tender the duck meat is! The gravy was very good too.

Braised Lamb Shank (RM39)
The braised lamb shank was sooooo good and everything was so delicious with a bed of mashed potatoes  and ratatouille with it. It was really one of the star dishes for the night. I couldn't stop myself for having more of this too!Smiley

Rib Eye Steak (RM53)
Talking about steak? How you would prefer your steak to be cooked? Am not a beef person, I rarely eat beef nothing related with religion. But this one is really one of the best one I had ever! The beef meat is tender and love how juicy it is!

Chicken Parmigiana (RM29)
When this Chicken Parmigiana arrived on the table, I have nothing to expect as I don't think there's much different in chicken taste especially after I know this was the chicken breast. The chicken breast is the part that I dislike very much. And again, am surprised with it! It's not dry or tough at all! The sauce goes with it made it taste wonder. So I guess I know why it is being one of the Silverspoon's Bestseller!

Grilled Salmon Fillet (RM43)
Salmon, everybody loves it, and am one of them! Honestly, I have never had any grilled salmon before in my life and this was the first one. Reason is simply I only love Salmon Sashimi as I know it's hard to find a good one! I got to say that this might the one I've been searching for as the salmon fillet is juicy and tasted deliciously and how we loves the crispy salmon skin!

Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Mushroom (RM24)
Linguine Pesto (RM28)
Spaghetti Marinara (RM29)
Salmon Spaghetti (RM28)
Seafood Risotto (RM29)
Pastas would be my most favorite Italian foods and the dinner full with various types of pastas too. I think the crowd's favorite pasta would be the one they called it as "Pan Mee" (not in the picture). I myself too can't help for having seconds and more. You can actually taste fresh seafoods on the spaghetti and what's more you can ask for? As for the risotto, I myself not really a fan of it, rarely eat that, but I kinda fell in love with it and would want to take more.

Fresh Orange Juice
There's few more juices came later on and one of them was the Fresh Orange Juice. Oh! Do try the Silverspoon Special if you visiting there. Am so stuffed with the yummy foods and refreshing drinks by that time, but that's not stopping to continue with the desserts. I don't think anybody would want to skip this too!

Creme Brulee (RM16)
Tiramisu (RM16)
Chocolate Pot (RM15)
I love all of them but the Chocolate Pot would be the most special one I ever had. The Chocolate Pot has a slight alcohol content in it and I guess that explained the wonderful taste of it. Go on with that, we were served with a range of hot drinks.

Cafe Latte ( RM 7.50 )
Macchiato (RM8)
Cappucino (RM7.50)
Hot Chocolate (RM8)
Each types of hot drinks were served with cookie and don't you think it can be really great when you drink along with the coffees? As for me, Hot Chocolate would be perfect for me! Smiley
