Awesome news for fellow Malaccans! There's a new bar launched in the city, the Rhapsody Bar Lounge, injects an electric energy into the inner-city nightlife community last week! It is located on the 2nd floor of Hatten Square!

Am here in KL to celebrate the Christmas instead of going back hometown for a week or two long holidays like I usually did in the past two years. I had no idea how is it to celebrate Christmas without family members and without meeting my church friends like how I used to enjoy all this while. If you ask me, it isn't that bad after all. My close friends are all here with me not only to celebrate it with me, but also showered me with all the thoughtful gifts.

Hey guys! Christmas is just around the corner and it's also a sign of the year of 2014 is coming to an end soon. I would say I had more happy things this year as I get to travel quite a lot this year compare to last year. Not only that, I achieved quite a number of my goals this year too! Some of you would know all the important and memorable moments of mine, not only to be written down on this blog or my dayre or even my other social media accounts - I've printed most of my travel photos and keeping them nicely in my scrapbook. It's all about preserving all the precious moments and it always give me that sentimental value by flipping the scrapbook of mine.

Counting down for the Christmas and still have no idea where to go for a Christmas feast? Why not book a table for you, family and friends and enjoy the night away with ribs galore at Morganfield's Publika? I am going to give you the reasons why you should choose this awesome place!!

I always prefer something that is personalized for its sentimental value added. There's a reason why I prefer the Pandora Essence collection over the Moments collection. Every single Pandora Essence charm is like the reflection of myself. Though, they doesn't look fancy compare to the Moment charms, I love how simple yet classy they are, and also the meaning behind every single charm.

When I got to know about FurAlice, I can't help but adore all of the handmade bracelet on their site. The best thing about it would be the customization of the charm bracelet to suit your own style. The process wasn't complicated at all. They first asked me to let them know my preferred color combination and followed by the style of the charm bracelet, then proceed with choosing my favorite charms.

Look at my Swarovski Pearls Bracelet features the combination of white, pink and rose gold pearl beads. With an extra two charms - dolphins and golden ball. I love them so much and it matches my favorite daily Baby-G watch in rose gold color! Oh! FurAlice also provides warranty for the bracelet which also means if you find that the bracelet you ordered is loose or the charms have dropped off, they will then replace it if they still have the charms in stock.

They are being so sweet for includes an extra gift for me too! It's just perfect for the festive holiday season! ⁽(◍˃̵͈̑ᴗ˂̵͈̑)

I was back in KK over the weekend for my primary school classmate's, Alana's wedding! It turned out a rather fun and memorable reunion for at least the 10 of us. We were all super excited for Alana and husband, Rian!

Annyeong~! Do you know how excited I was when I saw the innisfree signage in Sunway Pyramid last month?! You have no idea how much I am into Korean beauty products, especially innisfree! I super love their volcanic clay mask, capsule mask, mineral powder and cosmetic products! I can now shop all their products in Malaysia instead of doing online shopping and wait for it to come to me all the way from Korea!

I enjoyed my very first international beauty swap early this year! When Carine (France) chatted me up on Facebook a month ago and asked if we could do a beauty swap for December, I replied why not? We then proceed with exchanging our wishlist and start shopping for each other. I received a rather huge package on the day before I left for KK to attend my primary school classmate's wedding and only get to unbox the package 5 days later. Look what she had bought for me!! (´ ▽`).。o♡
Project Life
I don't consider myself as a very crafty person, but I enjoy scrapbooking. Not many of you know this side of me, I bet the only person I talk to the most about it is Estee. I normally do my scrapbook when I have an extra free time or I would do it during my blogging time. Other than shopping for my usual favorite stuff (clothes, shoes, jewelries, cosmetics), I also do craft and stationery shopping online and offline. I spent over RM400 to restock my craft and stationeries for my scrapbook and also the upcoming Traveler's Notebook and Filofax.

Here's a quick post about the parcel that arrived my doorstep today! I just received these lovely goodies from Makeup Revolution Malaysia. If you haven't heard of them yet, log on to www.makeuprevolution.my and start checking them out now! Just so you know that Makeup Revolution was launched in London in March 2014 and now the No.1 selling brand in Superdrug stores (similar to Watsons) in the UK. You'd be surprise to see the price of the cosmetic range are priced as low as RM8, with an array of professional and must have products including limited edition collections which are very affordable! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

It was one of the happiest days in my life. I have no idea, but I was more excited comparable to when I was finally reaching the age of 21. Again, I didn't get to celebrate my birthday with my family members, but my closest friends in the whole wide world! They are like my family here in west Malaysia.

After we are done with the quick exploration of the Katoomba town, we took the shuttle bus up to the Echo Point at Blue Mountains. It was surprisingly wasn't that cold up there, thanks to the warm sun!

Sooo.... H-Artistry - The Global Art of Mixing, shook the grounds of KL once again! Nicole and I certainly would not want to miss the chance to party and enjoy the lineups performance for the night, as how we always did for the past 2 years. This time, we tagged along the kids, Joel and friends!

Here's a great news for Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion fans out there! Hada Labo unveils its new improved Hydrating Lotion which lastingly hydrates and nourishes the skin for smooth, radiant and crystal-clear skin. We all know that the secret of to deep moist skin lies in getting moisture to work effectively across all layers of the skin. With this in mind, Hada Labo introduces its new Hydrating Lotion which now carries a new and enhanced HPP&M (High Performance Penetrating and Deep Moisturizing) technology actively infuses 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to fully hydrates skin from the surface to inner skin layers for significantly soft, smooth and supple skin, and to prepare skin for enhanced absorption of skin care ingredients.

On the third day of our Da Nang familiarization trip with AirAsia, we were brought to Ba Na Hills. Ba Na Hills, founded in 1919 by the French colonists, also known as a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountain. If you enjoy cool weather, you'd definitely love this place, else please make sure you wear extra layers of clothes or bring along a sweater with you.

Thanks to my friend Sue Ling for getting me this bagful of Zoella Beauty products all the way from the UK! I've been watching her on both her main and vlog channel on Youtube and you have no idea how excited I am to know she launched her products! I know I have to get them no matter what!

The rainy days here in Malaysia always remind me the cold weather during winter in Sydney. I miss layering my clothes with sweaters and coats, wearing gloves and boots, and exploring the city in such pleasant cold weather. Sydney is not only about the city center. If you wish to explore another side of Sydney, why not head to Katoomba at the Blue Mountains? We decided to visit Katoomba on one of the days during our trip in Sydney
...anything KATE SPADE! I am currently in love with anything about Kate Spade! My friend also got me the Cedar Street Dot Lacey polka dot purse during her recent trip to the UK! If you noticed, the design of Kate Spade handbags, purses, jewelries, mobile phone casings are all super sweet, cute and feminine. If you don't like anything too colorful, they have it in monochrome and soft pastel color that totally perfect for any occasions! How to not fall in love with this brand?

These bags can be really expensive if you can't find a really good deal, especially when it is not on sale. I normally will keep an eye on its official website before Kate Spade finally opened a store in Malaysia. We all know that the price is varied from the official site since it is shipped to Malaysia. Now that I plan to get one of these lovely Kate Spade handbags as a Christmas gift for myself, my sister and mom, I know I have to really hunt for a better option and compare the prices from several sites in order to not burn a huge hole in my wallet.

I was so glad that I stumbled upon this site - iPrice Singapore! There's so many other brands (designers and non designers) on the website and yes, you'll be spoiled with the choices too! The user-friendly interface makes shopping through the site much easier too. Beware, it can be pretty addictive to shop on this site!

Of course, if you're worried about shipping from Singapore why not grab awesome, great deals from iPrice Malaysia ? (。´∀`)

The Apartment Downtown, whether you have heard of it for numerous times or dined at this restaurant before, it's time for you to go back and try out their new menu! The Apartment Downtown unveiled exciting new look, menu and cocktail and champagne bar. Featuring a European styled dining concept, infused with Asian flavors into a contemporary menu, the restaurant is a place where the formal and casual coexist.

Creating a restaurant “where dining out means coming home”, The Apartment Downtown is completely renovated to showcase the large open space, vast amount of natural light and a sense of height and depth, providing an ideal setting for any crowd size. At night, diners could sit back and relax over a glass of bubbly with a scenic lake view.

We kick start our lovely dinner with the Polenta, Tomato and Basil Salad (RM25.90). It is just a simple mixture of roma, cherry and sun dried tomatoes, cucumber, basil, capers, anchovies and buffalo mozzarella tossed with shallot vinaigrette, topped with crispy polenta.

What was served next was this lovely Chicken Liver Pate (RM22.90). This allows you to enjoy the homemade chicken liver pate with port jelly served with cornichons, fresh arugula and rye toast. This is yummy and I can eat this anytime! I wish I could have that jar of chicken liver pate at home now!

And here's the Fried Herb & Potato Dumplings (RM16.90). The crispy fried herb and potato served with grilled banana ketchup. This is nice and crispy, but wasn't my favorite; the tomato ketchup that comes with it has a hint of banana taste, interesting.

Awesome stuffs for scallop lovers! Silky Scallops & Tofu (RM39.90) where the scallops and roe baked with tofu, topped with soy-wasabi butter. This is certainly perfect for quick bites and they are yums! If you wish to have something heavier, you can always opt for the Salt & Pepper Scallops Linguine (RM45.90). The linguine served with prawns, crispy beef bacon, sautéed broccoli and red capsicum with chili flakes.

Moving to more of the mains, we also ordered this huge Moroccan Beef Burger (RM36.90). For the price, I thought it's pretty affordable! You'll get to enjoy the thick and juicy Moroccan spiced patty on toasted brioche bun stacked with tomato relish, beef bacon, arugula, tomato, Portobello mushroom with a drizzle of mayonnaise. It also served with sweet potato fries topped with the house crème fraiche!

What's new? The Greek Mac and Cheese (RM30.90), macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce with fresh dill, feta cheese, and Greek spice blend topped with breadcrumbs and fried spinach.

This could be everyone's favorite for the night - Greek Style Lamb Cutlets (RM70.90)! The New Zealand lamb cutlets served along with Greek yogurt, crumbed eggplant and roasted cherry tomatoes. The lamb was done in perfect medium rare, just the way we love it!

For dessert, we ordered the sinfully delicious Baked Chocolate Pudding (RM18.90). This is my all time favorite desserts at the Apartment Downtown, KLCC! The chocolate pudding with a chocolate-coffee ganache topped with hazelnut served with vanilla ice cream. The preparation time for this particular dessert is 15-20minute, but it's totally worth the wait!

As a new feature, the champagne bar features a range of bubblies from Henkell (German) to Deutz (French). The boutique selections are harvested from biodynamic viticulture. For those who prefer cocktails, The Apartment Downtown will be serving its own home mixes such as Tokyo Snow, ‘New Orleans’ French 75, Pedro’s Revolver and Herbal Gin & Tonic. The difficulty will be in deciding which to order.

Let's take a break from all the food-related post because I have a very much long overdue post here! I was first getting to know about this product through one of my favorite youtubers, Mamichula8153 and I was totally impressed with the result after she used this kit. I actually received the product - Banish Kit by Banish Acne Scars - around mid of September and I couldn't start using it due to active acnes all over my face at that time. I only started using it early October after my acne on my forehead reduced tremendously and left with those marks and scars over the treatment sessions under Dr Christina from Klinik Christina Chea

All the products from Banish Acne Scars assembled and shipped from the United States in Los Angeles California. The Banish Kit contains an all natural Vitamin C, E, Ferulic Acid Serumrollerstorage case and cleaning container

Please note that there's a few types of rollers available - 0.25mm (for hyper pigmentation, serum absorption, fine lines and discoloration), 0.5mm (for hyper pigmentation, serum absorption, fine lines, discoloration and acne scarring) and 1.0mm (for hyper pigmentation, serum absorption, fine lines, discoloration, acne scarring, ice-pick acne scars and stretch marks). Depending on the size of the roller you use, you can use the 0.25mm roller every week; 0.5mm roller every other week and the 1.0mm roller only once a month. This is due to it takes a while for collagen to build on your skin.

What's make Banish Roller special here?
  • The bristles are created out of titanium.
  • Titanium is stronger and has less risk of infection than other metals.
  • Titanium is lightweight but strong, compared to steel which is much heavier.
  • Titanium is non-porous, which is less likely to cause an allergic reaction compared to other metals.
  • Titanium is non corrosive, compared to steel which can rust easily.
  • Titanium is more expensive than steel.
** It is best to replace your Banish Roller after 8 uses. It is because the needles on it will turn dull and there may be a risk of infection to the skin from previous uses.

Frankly, I was so happy to see serum is included in the Banish Kit! (You and I know how much a C&E Serum cost out there) The serum that comes with it is natural and contains no additives, parabens, sulfates or preservative. The shelf life of the serum is approximately 6-9 months.

How thoughtful of the founder to include a container for users to use it to clean their Banish Roller! All you need is isopropyl alcohol to clean the roller each time before and after you use it.

I was excited to try the Banish Kit and tried it on my forehead after there's no more active acnes but scars. Basically, you just need to roll it 4-5 times on your skin that with the scars on it and then, gently pat the serum on the area. It was surprisingly not painful at all, it hurts much less than you are waxing your eyebrows! I can see the result after a month and as you can see, it cleared up most of the marks on my forehead area. Now I just can't wait to treat the scars and marks on my cheek areas! It is going to take longer time compared to my forehead area due to the number of active acnes, but I'm sure I will be doing another post (or maybe a vlog!) to update you guys on my skin condition! ヾ(。◕ฺ∀◕ฺ)ノ

Banish Acne Scars provide returns even if you have used the product and it does not work for you. Check out the products at HERE.

I still remember my first visit to Baci Italian Café (in Citta Mall) was for a casual meeting session. Cozy ambiance, though the chocolate drink that I've ordered wasn't my favorite and the pizza was alright. I guess I enjoyed my company more than my drink for the night.

When I was informed and invited to try out their newly revamped menu, I thought why not give it a try, and boy, that was one of the best dinner meals I've had ever! When Baci is first conceived, the starting point was to re-create an authentically Italian, serving quality Italian coffee and fresh, cafe style food in a neighborhood setting inspired by the European coffee culture where people relax, share and enjoy each other's company.

I ordered myself the refreshing Mango Cooler (RM10.90) and being a coffee person, Eric ordered a cup of Flat White (RM8.90) which turned out much better compare to the cuppa he had last time here. Baci offers various coffees and chocolate drinks in the menu, there's one interesting one called Cappugiro (RM9.90) with a foamy texture, coffee mousse resting on a bed of liquid milk.

If you wish to enjoy a rather light meal for your brunch or dinner, you can always opt for the sandwich selection in the menu. We had this Spicy Chicken Sandwich (RM16.90) that comes in pretty huge portion! You'd enjoy the grilled slices of chicken breast marinated with Baci special spiced sauce with hints of cumin, spicy sauce and chili flakes served with fresh romaine, tomato slices and onions in between homemade ciabatta spread with wholegrain mustard mayo

I love pasta! I mean, who doesn't? If you ever come to Baci and craving for a good pasta, please get yourself this plate of Smoked Duck & Shiitake Spaghetti (RM19.90)! It comes with a generous serving of smoked duck breast, sautéed cherry tomatoes, spinach and fresh shiitake mushrooms. It is a little bit spicy but I truly love the hint of sourish that somehow tantalize the tastebud in such awesome way! And yes, the pasta served with a slice of toasted garlic bread to complete the true Italian experience.

I am not really a pie person. However, the hearty Chicken & Mushroom Pie (RM18.90) in Baci's new menu certainly another must-ordered items! It certainly looks different from the ordinary pie as it serves with a puff pastry atop a pot of rich and creamy sauce that is 2-hour of slow-cooked goodness. Poke the puff pastry and scoop into the savory thick broth of leek, chicken breast, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes and green peas with a dash of Italian herbs, delicious!

Oh hey, beef lovers! I mean, oxtail soup lovers! Try out this pot of Baci's classic - Oxtail Stew (RM23.90) whenever you can as it is limited to only 6 pots a day. This is such a hearty and comfort meal that meant for sharing. With 6-hour cooking time featuring carrots, celery and juicy oxtail slowed cooked in flavorful beef stock served with warm garlic mashed potatoes and a slice of toasted Tuscan bread. The meat was very tender and we're absolutely in love with this pot of Oxtail Stew!

There's always something for everyone. Pizza lovers get to enjoy various types of pizza selection from the menu too! We had the Bolognese Pizza (RM20.90), the 9" hand tossed thin crust base topped with deliciously rich beef bolognese, fresh cubes of capsicum and arugula on a bed of melted mozzarella cheese.

In conjunction with the Yuletide, Baci Italian Café, is launching a special Christmas campaign to fund a buffet spread for the underprivileged children of Ti Ratana Welfare Society at their outlet in Citta Mall, Ara Damansara.

From 1st till 30th November, patrons will be encouraged to contribute a minimum of RM10 that goes towards organizing a Christmas buffet cum party on Sunday, 7th December 2014 for the children of Ti Ratana Society.
