What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

I used to packed - 3 different type of foundations and BB creams, 5 different shade of lipsticks, 3 different type of concealers, 3 different eyeshadow palettes, 3 different type of mascaras - with me when I travel. You must be thinking if I'm crazy or what, I know and it's okay. After been travelling quite a lot for the past years, I've improved my packing skills and always try my best to pack only the essentials and this applies to both my outfits and travel makeup bag.

For both my Bangkok and Seoul trip, I packed only these products in my travel makeup bag with me.

:: HAND & BODY ::

I can't live without hand cream. I always have them with me to keep my hand moisturise all the time.

I know I am going to walk a lot and it's summer in Seoul, deodorant is an essential to keep my body underarm feel refresh all the time. Even though I don't have body odour, I dislike sweaty underarm, it feels super uncomfortable. This product have a high sterilising power and disinfect the bacteria that cause body odour. Most importantly, it help reduces the sweat too. It's also good to know that this product contains eight different natural ingredients optimal to moisturises the skin and suitable for sensitive skin. I love that this come in such tiny packaging and definitely travel friendly too!

:: FACE ::

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Foundation
Instead of packing a tons, I picked only one foundation to go on a trip with me. This is the new foundation by Bourjois. I've been loving this particular foundation, it has a light and breathable texture as well as provides medium coverage. I love how it helps to brighten up and even out my entire skin complexion. And most importantly, it does last for a good 6-8 hours, or at least until I get  back to my crib in the evening.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer
This product was launched together with the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Foundation. Honestly, I'm not really a fan of concealer. Concealer always clogs my skin and worsen the existing breakouts. If you ask me, there're only four concealers that made into my favourite concealer products. I'm glad this one has made into the list too! I've been reaching out to this product a lot. Similar to the foundation, it has a light texture and the coverage is wonderful too! It concealed my acne perfectly when I needed to have a flawless skin for my trip!

Shiseido Translucent Loose Powder
This is a must-have item in my makeup bag in order to keep my skin stay matte, especially my t-zone area that tend to turn oily after few hours. I love this product a lot for it's not leaving my skin look cake-y and it set my makeup pretty well too.

Not sure about you, I won't consider my makeup is done without a little bit of contouring on my nose bridge, cheeks and jawline. Just a little bit of shading makes a lot of difference in a look, even for a no-makeup makeup look.

The Balm The Manizer Sister Palette
I know you must be thinking why would I bring another highlighter palette when I already have one in Sleek's. I really adore the finish of the balm's Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. It's one of my holy grail highlighters and it gives much subtle finish compare to my another favourite Becca's Champagne Pop highlighter by Jaclyn Hill.

:: EYE ::

I decided to bring a palette that has all the shade I needed for my transition shade, neutral shade, shimmer shade, dark shade, and this palette is just perfect! Trust me, you can achieve a day to night makeup with just this makeup palette.

Sephora Around The World Face and Eye Palette - ROME
I got this cute mini palette from Nala last year Christmas, it's from Sephora's 2015 holiday collection. I never fancy Sephora's eyeshadow but these are pigmented and not powdery at all! I brought this along because I love the matte soft and darker brown shade and I can use the blush in the palette as my blusher too!

Shu Uemura Brow:Sword
Hands down this is my all time favourite brow product! Similar to its hard formula, this gives a very natural brow finish too! I find it's easy to draw the shape and fill in my eyebrows with this one.

KISS ME Heroine Make Advanced Film Mascara
I've blogged about this mascara and you can read everything about it HERE. This mascara is super light and it always gives the illusion as though I put on a falsie whenever I apply this on my lashes!

:: LIP ::

Lip Treatment
I have a very dry lips and that explains there's no way I can live without lip balm or lip treatment for my lip. Even if I forgot to bring it, I will definitely get one from the store.

Banila Co It Moist Seoul Tint in Lacquer
I got this one during my Jeju-Busan trip last year and really loving it a lot. Lip tint is always a trend in Korea makeup look and always an essential in every Korean girls' makeup bag! It's hydrating and last pretty long too!

Pony Effect Lip Fluid
The shade Agape is quite similar to the Banila Co's lip tint, this is super hydrating and last long too. I brought this just so I can keep one in my handbag for touch-up whenever I need it, especially after a meal.

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick
Don't you know it always good to have a nude lipstick in your makeup bag for an alternative option? Just pick your favourite nude lip product and you're good to go!

p.s
If you're wondering why I didn't bring along my makeup brushes, I keep my makeup brushes and beauty blender in a separate makeup pouch. It's not really for hygiene purpose, it's just the way I normally pack.

  2. Yes, you have all. Only a true make-up lover can understand the agony of not being able to take along all the stuff on a trip!
