A Fusion Feast at Greyhound Cafe Malaysia, ANSA KL

I still remember the excitement when I found out about Greyhound Cafe is coming to Malaysia last year. I've tried some of their food and desserts during my trip to Bangkok a few years back, it was soso good and I couldn't wait to try it here!

I'm so glad to be able to try out their new menu which will be available in ANSA outlet starting 18th August 2017. Read on to find out what's new on the menu!

Let's talk about the interior setting of the restaurant itself. It's modern and cozy, with tonnes of props prepared for your Instagram photo moment. Plan to take a hipster foodie snap? Well, you have the marble printed table or wooden table, it's all up to you! And yes, every corner in the restaurant is Instagram-worthy!

Just so you know that Greyhound Cafe is the first fashionable casual dining cafe in Bangkok that offers a trendy and creative mix of menus, great service and ambiance at a competitive price. Just like Bangkok, Greyhound Cafe's food concept is a bout mix and match and in many cases - a mismatched!

Grilled Pumpkin and Tofu Salad -RM25

If you know me well enough, I don't fancy veggies and I hardly order a salad for my meal. However, this particular one changed my mind and I happily eating half of the portion of this salad. It has fresh and crisp mixed greens and pumpkin seeds served with sesame and shoyu dressing! Soso yummy!

Greyhound Famous Fried Chicken Wings -RM18

I LOVE CHICKEN WINGS, especially the good ones.
If only people can stop telling me how unhealthy it is, I would have this every single day in my life. I've had this in Bangkok and this is one of the main reasons for my repeat visits at Greyhound Cafe whenever I go back for my yearly Bangkok trips.

They are so well-marinated and flavorful! Most importantly, it is crunchy on the outside and still tender and moist inside even though they are deep fried.

Fried Salmon Toro with Dip -RM22

It's my first time trying this particular dish and boy did that taste good! Squeeze the lime onto the fried salmon, you can eat it on its own or simply dip it into the sauces! I'm pretty sure they have some secret ingredient in the dipping sauce that made it taste extra good too! It's very appetizing and I secretly wish I can order another serving just for myself! :p

French Onion Soup -RM18

It has been the longest time since I had french onion soup and this particular one at Greyhound Cafe doesn't disappoint at all. It is an original French onion soup with French bread and melted cheese.

Grilled Salmon Steak on Green Bed
(RM 38)
The salmon steak is well marinated and perfectly cooked. Of course, you can eat it on its own or simply enjoy it with the greens!
Spicy Fried Salmon
with Holy Basil on Rice
(RM 38)

This may look like just another simple rice dish
but it is one of the most favorite dishes on that night!
Fried salmon with spicy chilies basil,
served with rice and topped with holy basil.
If you love spicy food, you would enjoy an extra kick from the chilies!
I loved it but I couldn't handle this level of spiciness myself.
Waterfall Mushroom and Tofu
(RM 18)
Mixed mushrooms and tofu with spicy Eastern style waterfall dressing, served with warm sticky rice. This is perfect for vegetarian! :)
Super Elvis Burger
(RM 48)
Enjoy 300g grilled ground beef in the sesame bun with turkey bacon and cheese! You are going to love the thick and juicy patty!
One thing though, if you are on your own and love spicy food, simply order the Spicy Fried Salmon with Holy Basil on Rice for your lunch/dinner. I promise you will LOVE it!

Banoffee -RM18

This tastes so yummy and irresistible!
You will find the layers of oreo crust, sea salt caramel, banana and vanilla fresh cream in this cute mini jar.

Young Coconut Crepe Cake
(RM 22)
Indulge yourself in layers of shredded coconut and whipped cream in the crepe sheets.
Sakoo Piek
(RM 16)

This is my favorite dessert of the night!
A simple dessert consist of
coconut sago with water chestnut
and coconutsherbet, yet taste refreshingly good!
Happy Toast -RM 12

This heavily buttered thick and chunky white or whole wheat toast served with five very tasty toppings is not only delicious, you can have it in your own unique way! The entire toast actually gone in less than 10 minutes and that's how tasty it is!

Chinese Plum and Sprite Float -RM16
Fresh Coconut Shake -RM16
Thai Tea Granita -RM16

For those who visited Greyhound Cafe at Midvalley, you would've seen all these dishes in the menu already. For those who frequently visit Greyhound Cafe at ANSA, you can enjoy all of the above starting 18th August 2017! :D
