Day 1: Off To Krabi // Red Ginger Chic Resort

This was a very impromptu trip to Krabi.

We've talked about going for a relaxing beach holiday, just the two of us girls, yet didn't really plan it after our trip to Seoul together. After a random Korean food and dessert night out, we were talking about our work stuff and it was our first time to book everything just out of the blue too!

7.10am flight - it must be the only decision that we regretted this trip. But then again, I guess we're just wanted to fly over and check in to our hotel. Obviously, it didn't happen as we wished.

We arrived Krabi airport around 8.30am and reached our hotel around 10am. We were super sleepy and hungry, yet we weren't able to check in to our room. We then decided to walk down the street to grab our brunch and book tours for the next two days in Krabi.

ps. not sure what they call this welcome drink, it's super refreshing!

We found this restaurant called Feel Good Restaurant with no patrons inside and we thought it might be still early for lunch time. We were too lazy to even both walk further down and decided to get a table for us and ordered 3 dishes for the brunch. Everything was so good and this meal only cost us 380 baht only!

After done with buying stuff that we needed and booked tours for the next two days, we went back to the hotel and were told to wait for another hour as they're preparing our room. No complaint as the receptionist trying his best getting a room ready for us.

A 4-star boutique resort, situated at Ao Nang, is just 10-minute walk away from the Hat Noppharat Beach and Nopparat Thara Beach, 2.2km away from Ao Nang beach.

We stayed in their Club Room, which is actually a loft kinda room, super nice as we have such spacious room for ourselves! The room equipped with everything we needed - refrigerator, coffee maker, TV with satellite channels, hair dryer, free bottled water, bathrobe, toiletries, etc. Did I mention that we were given complimentary mini bar on our first day?!

After we settled in the room, we spent our afternoon away with much-needed beauty sleep before hitting the amazing pool in the hotel.

Our hotel has such an amazing outdoor pool together with a swim-up bar and spa tub.
We totally envy those guests who actually staying in the rooms with pool access right from their room! We spent quite some time at the pool dipping and floating, enjoying our drinks till the evening.

The rest of our stays in this hotel was super pleasant.
Eat, sleep, pool, repeat - that's basically how we spent our first day in Krabi.
