Dinner feast at Brolly, Menara Felda

I had one of the most wonderful time feasting awesomely delicious food last week and it would be such a waste for me not to blog in my personal space here. It is definitely a place I would go back again. This relatively new place called Brolly, located at Menara Felda on Persiaran KLCC, featuring nine kitchens - Crab Factory, Ember & Bara BBQ, Raksasa Mirai, Nove 9 Pizzeria, Moley's Oyster Bar, Bang Bang Baller Bar, My Wing Man, Variety Nible Nible Nible and Sweet Endings - that allows their patrons to satisfy their appetite in nine awesome ways.

interiors

As though the bright-red bus isn't impressive enough, the interior features a modern, garage-like setting, which is pretty cool! Seriously, I didn't expect to see a real car hanging on top like that!

live tanks

It's normal to see a live tank filled with fish and crabs, but it's definitely my first time seeing oysters kept in a live tank! It's a whole new level of fresh oysters!

brown crab

Super huge brown crab! You can look at the comparison with the hand in the picture!

Passion Mojito -RM15

Beergaritas -RM30

If you're up for a twist for your alcohol drink, do give the Beergaritas a try, they are really good. The guys in the group ordered a few of them that night too!

Spinach & Feta Melon Salad -RM22

Grilled Caesar Salad -RM15

I love the Spinach & Feta Melon Salad, the honey vinegar dressing cuts through the saltiness of the cheese, creating a balanced summer salad. In case you're wondering why is it called Grilled Caesar Salad, it is because the lettuce are light grilled over the open flames to make this version of classic caesar salad.

Whilst waiting for the mains to be served, we had the awesome starter dish that consists of the seafood tofu, smoked duck breast, cencaluk chicken wings and calamari tentacles. The smoked duck breast yakitori is the bomb, super addictive!

Onion Flower -RM18

We love this one! The fried Aussie Onion blossoming like a flower, sweet and crunchy.

Grilled Beef Sirloin -RM34

The Grilled Beef Sirloin was done in medium-rare, paired with the special sauce, it's delicious! Eric enjoyed this a lot. The mashed potatoes with the chunky potato bits was yummy too!

crabs & prawns

The star of the night - fresh seafood from Crab Factory. For those who love Crab Factory in SS2, you can now enjoy them at Brolly too! For the seafood, you will first have to decide your desired type of seafood, then choose your preferred sauce (mustard, garlic butter, gardlic aoili, zesty lemon, signature southern bang and jamba-jamba). And then, you can add your bag buddies (potatoes, chicken sausages, king mushrooms, corn, enoki mushrooms and button mushrooms). I personally enjoyed the garlic butter sauce the most as it's not as spicy as the southern bang. But if you enjoy eating spicy food, you'll definiely love the signature souther bang more!

mussels

fresh oysters

I don't eat oyster, I always avoid fresh oysters after my bad experience eating non fresh oyster years ago. That night, all of them managed to convince me to take one and ohmy, it was super fresh and I really LOVE it! If you ask Estee, she will describe it this way - taste like ocean! it's ocean-fresh! I would go back for these fresh oysters for sure!

 Garlic Escargots -RM24

Thai Beef Guava Salad -RM28

Hawaiian -RM23

Pizza lovers will get to choose varities of pizza too. Other than the Thai Beef Guava Salad (Thai inspired pizza of beef, guava and mango) and Hawaiian (classic of pineapple and chicken), they also have Mixed Mushrooms (fresh button, shiitake and oyster mushroom), Vegetarian (fresh button mushrooms, spinach leaves and soya ham), Lambogarlic (minced lamb and lamb sausage flooded with garlic sauce), Smoked Salmon (smoked salmon, fresh basils, walnuts and sour cream), Seafood Matriciana (a mix of baby octopus, tiger prawns and clams), Quattro Formaggi (four cheeses) to cater to all types of pizza lovers!

For the sweet ending, we get to enjoy all sort dessert in a jar, they are priced at RM16 each. We had the Ribena Poached Pear, Rocky Road, Chunky Peanut Butter Granola and Creme Brulee. Dayum! They are all so sinfully yummy!

We also had the Grilled Montel Banana Parcel and Grilled Green Pear Parcel that topped with whipped cream. I love the caramelised banana with its natural sweetness.

That was such a feast for dinner! Do follow Brolly on Facebook to check out all their current promotions!
